Be part of the ‘YMCA Myplace’ youth project, funded by Big Lottery’s Reaching Communities fund:
+ Detached Youth Worker | 1 x 3 hour post
+ Youth Worker (Casual) | 2 x 0 hour posts

We are seeking individuals who are inspired by playing an important role in changing people’s lives and therefore communities. We are all about creating inspirational pathways and opportunities, opening doors and welcoming all to get involved and make a positive difference. Working for us means helping children, young people and the wider local community to reach their full potential.

As a Detached Youth Worker you will have experience and knowledge of detached youth work, with a skill and passion for engaging with young people within their community, delivering street based activities and project work.

A a Youth Worker (Casual) you will have the skills and enthusiasm to work with young people within a busy and vibrant youth center. The nature of this role would suit someone who is able to work flexibly and does not want to commit to a regular working pattern.
