Lifewise Visit: August 2018

Last week young people form the Reaching Communities Project got the chance to visit the Lifewise centre in Hellaby, where they learnt vital First Aid skills, how to recognise risky behaviour, and consequences of anti-social behaviour.

The young people had a great time getting stuck into the interactive scenarios, where they acted out a range of situations, including ‘knock a door run’, a mock trial  and administering first aid.

Thank you to our partners at South Yorkshire Police Community Safety Team for putting on such a great event, to the British Red Cross for teaching us some life saving skills and to our local partners Clifton Learning Partnership and Barnardo’s for sharing such a great day!
